Biography
I am a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in knee surgery and sports injuries. I graduated from the Royal Free and University College London Medical School in 2006 with a First Class Honours BSc in Physiology and Pharmacology and a Merit award in my MBBS degree.
After completion of specialty training in the West Midlands in 2017, I undertook subspecialty knee fellowship training at the prestigious Academic Lower limb Reconstruction Unit at University College London Hospital and the Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health under the auspices of one of the highest volume arthroplasty and sports knee surgeons in the country. Following this, I went onto complete my second fellowship, focussing on periarticular knee osteotomy surgery and knee ligament reconstruction surgery at the internationally renowned Basingstoke & North Hampshire Hospital.
My NHS practise is based at The Lister Hospital where I treat all aspects of adult and paediatric knee pathology together with general trauma conditions. My specific interests are centred around the management of young adult knee conditions to include realignment osteotomy surgery, arthroscopic knee ligament reconstruction and cartilage surgery and unicompartmental, primary and complex knee arthroplasty surgery.

Throughout my career, I have been committed to medical research and practising evidence-based medicine. I have been awarded multiple research grants, published multiple papers in peer reviewed journals, authored book chapters and presented at regional, national and international scientific meetings. I continue to contribute to scientific research and am currently a reviewer for a number of orthopaedic journals to include The Bone and Joint Journal.

I am passionate about and have a broad experience of teaching and training ranging from undergraduate level to international lectures. I am invited faculty on the International Basingstoke Osteotomy Masterclass together with the Royal College of Surgeons of England CCrISP Course.

Outside of work I have a passion for sports and personal fitness. I enjoy rugby, cricket and Formula 1 motorsport and myself am trained in the art of Taijutsu. Much of my spare time is also spent looking after my young family.
